When you use the JoooLive services (including the JoooLive website and JoooLive mobile app), JoooLive may collect and use your information. This Privacy Policy aims to explain how JoooLive collects, uses, stores, and shares this information when you use our services, and how you can access, update, control, and protect this information. This Privacy Policy is closely related to the JoooLive services you use, and we hope you read it carefully. Follow the guidance provided in this policy to make informed choices where necessary. We aim to explain relevant technical terms in a concise and straightforward way. By using our product, you acknowledge and agree that we are providing a platform for you to post content, including photos, audio, video, comments, and other materials ("User Content"), which can be publicly shared.
A. What types of information do we collect?
When providing JoooLive services, we obtain information about you in the following ways. Note that we need certain types of information to provide JoooLive services to you.

- Registration Information and Personal Profile: JoooLive allows users to register using your phone number or third-party platform account to create an account within the app. When you create an account, we may collect personal information you provide to JoooLive, such as your name, gender, birthday, self-introduction, current location, relationship status, dating intentions, occupation, languages, interests, username, password, email, photos, or phone number. We may also collect information from third-party accounts that can identify you.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): For example, comments, texts, messages, images, videos, audio, code, or other data or materials you upload, distribute, or stream on the JoooLive service.
- Payment Information: This includes full name, billing address, billing postal code, billing country, date of birth, purchase amount, payment method, credit card or debit card number, or other necessary payment information.
- Transaction Information: This includes transaction numbers, transaction history records, and other transaction details after you purchase paid services.
- Survey and Activity Information: Information you provide when participating in in-app surveys and activities.
- Social Media Account Information: When you create a JoooLive account via third-party social media platforms (like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google), or link your JoooLive account to these platforms, we collect information provided by these social media accounts.
- Device Information: We may collect device information or details sent by your mobile device, such as the operating system, language, Android ID, IP location, and log files when you use our products.
- Mobile Status Permissions: We may request access to your phone status to ensure push notifications reach you and avoid duplicate notifications. We pledge not to disclose any of your phone information.
- Cookies: We may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information on how you use our products and their features.
- Public Information: Information you choose to post and/or publicly display. You can post your photos, audio, or other materials on our products to share with others using the app. You can still control whether or not to post, display, or remove such materials.
- Log Information: When you use the app, the JoooLive server will automatically log the activities and relevant data you create. This log information may include the connections you click on within our app, video streams you view, the date and time you visit pages, the features and statistics, and information on cookies. We may also collect interaction information between you and the app to understand your interests, customize, and improve our app and its features.
- Information You Submit: Information you provide when communicating with us. For example, feedback you provide via our channels about our app and services, including your email address, name, and other details. You may also provide other data, such as by syncing your contact data. If you choose to import your contacts, we will receive your contacts' information. By syncing your contacts with our "services," we help recommend connections to you and expand your network. While you are not obligated to upload personal data, doing so may limit your ability to interact and expand your network through our "services."
- Information from Others: Other people may sync their contact lists with our "services." When others import or sync their contacts with our "services," associate contacts with members, or use our "services" to send messages (including invitations or friend requests), we may receive your personal data (including contact information).
- IP Address and Location Information: We may collect your IP address or GPS (Global Positioning System) information when you use our app to access specific features or services. You can disable this feature to prevent the app from collecting your IP address or GPS information, but doing so may limit the availability of certain features or services.
- Payment Information for Subscriptions: When you subscribe or purchase paid services directly from us (instead of via iOS or Android platforms), you may provide information like your credit or debit card number or other financial information to us or our payment service provider.
- Data Collected for Legitimate Interests: When using JoooLive services, we may collect the following types of personal information:
- Online Activity Information: This includes your browsing history, search history, videos or pages visited, dates and times of access, subscriptions to other users' accounts, and interaction information with other users.
- Information from Other Sources: For example, we may obtain information from third-party services or social media networks (such as Facebook) that you have authorized us to access. When you access JoooLive services via social media or link JoooLive to a social media network, you authorize JoooLive to collect, store, and use this additional information and content according to this privacy policy.
- Device Identifiers: This includes details like your operating system, browser type, mobile device brand, model, and serial number, Internet Protocol (IP) address, mobile carrier, screen resolution, language settings, IMEI number, IMSI number, and MAC address.
- Information from Other Apps: Information about your usage of other apps.
- Location Information: This includes information based on your SIM card.
- Mobile Ad Identifiers: These are metrics used by mobile operating systems and advertisers to collect indicators on mobile apps (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's AAID) to help provide you with relevant ads.
- Metadata: This includes data associated with the UGC you provide, describing other data and indicating how, when, and by whom UGC was collected and formatted (e.g., hashtags and captions for video tags).
- Cookies: Small pieces of data collected by us or our business partners to measure and understand the pages you click on and how you use the JoooLive service to enhance your experience.
We may also collect, use, and share your information to generate and share aggregated insights that do not identify you. Aggregated data may be derived from your personal information but is not considered personal information as it does not reveal your identity directly or indirectly. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing specific website features, generate statistics about our users, or calculate the number of times an ad is displayed or clicked.
Storage and access to cookies associated with JoooLive services are governed by JoooLive’s Cookie Policy ("Cookie Policy").
B.How Do We Use the Collected Information?
We may use your information in the following situations to provide you with better services. We use your data to authorize access to our "Services" and respect your settings.
Stay Connected
We use data related to you to help others find your account, recommend connections for you and others, and allow you to invite others to join as members and add you as a friend. You can choose whether to invite others to use our "Services," send friend requests, or allow other "members" to add you as a friend. When you invite someone to connect with you, your invitation will include your network and basic information. We will send reminders of your invitation to the members you have invited.
Personalized User Experience
Service Development – We may use the collected data to provide, maintain, improve, and develop our services. We may collect and use information as mentioned above to recommend other user content or features that you might find interesting.
We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide you with the features and functionality of JoooLive; to communicate with you directly, such as by sending you emails and push notifications; and to allow you to share your creations with your contacts or social media sites on JoooLive. We may also send you service-related emails or messages (e.g., account verification, order confirmation, updates or modifications to JoooLive features, technical and security notices).
Providing Services: Displaying JoooLive services and content to you, including any interactive features on JoooLive services, and providing you with information, products, or services you have authorized us to provide. We also collect and use personal information to verify your eligibility and provide rewards related to promotions and sweepstakes.
Service Improvement: Improving and personalizing our services by offering new services, information, suggestions, and feedback.
Customer Management: Managing registered users’ accounts, providing customer support and notifications related to their accounts or subscriptions, and notifying them of any changes to JoooLive services or other products or services we offer or provide through it.
Communication: Communicating and interacting with you directly, such as sending notifications about upcoming changes, promotions, or JoooLive service improvements.
Content Review: Reviewing the images, graphics, and content published or generated on JoooLive services to ensure compliance with applicable content regulations in any relevant jurisdiction.
Content Customization: Analyzing and researching your use or interest in content, products, or services provided on JoooLive services, to develop and display content on our website and apps tailored to your interests.
Performance Analysis: Determining whether users of JoooLive services are unique, or whether the same user is using JoooLive services multiple times, and monitoring aggregate metrics such as the total number of visitors, the number of videos viewed, demographic patterns, etc.
Features and Security: Identifying users who do not meet age restrictions, diagnosing or fixing technical issues, detecting, preventing, and responding to actual or potential fraud, illegal activities, or intellectual property infringement.
Compliance: Enforcing our terms of use and complying with our legal obligations.
Aggregation: Aggregating the information we collect about you for one or more of the above purposes.
Cookies: We and our suppliers and service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, Flash cookies, etc.) ("Cookies") to automatically collect information, measure and analyze which pages you click on, and how you use the platform, enhancing your platform experience and improving our services. Cookies are small files that enable the platform to provide certain features and functionalities when placed on your device. Web beacons are very small images or small pieces of data embedded in images, also known as "pixel tags" or "clear GIFs," which can identify Cookies, view the time and date of pages, and gather information similar to that from your computer or device. By using the platform, you consent to our use of Cookies.
Furthermore, we use your email or other login information or device information to associate your contacts or subscriber information with your activity across all devices on our platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, whose information practices are not covered by this Privacy Policy.
You can refuse or disable Cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Since each browser is different, refer to your browser's instructions. Note that you may need to take additional steps to refuse or disable certain types of Cookies. Additionally, your opt-out choice is specific to the browser or device you use when opting out, so you may need to opt-out separately for each browser or device. If you choose to refuse, disable, or delete Cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of the platform.
Please be aware that depending on the specific purpose of our use of your personal information, we may process your personal information based on multiple legitimate grounds.
C.How Your Information May Be Disclosed
We do not disclose your information to any other third parties, which refers to entities not controlling, controlled by, or under common control with JoooLive. We also do not sell your information to any third parties.
D.Third-Party Websites
Through our app interface, application, services, and website, third-party information (such as your Facebook or WeChat account information) is often accessed. We may provide links to third-party websites like Facebook as a service to our users. When you click on a third-party link in an app, service, or website, you may leave that app, service, or website. Some of these third-party websites may be co-branded with our names/logos or those of our affiliates, even though they are not operated or maintained by us. This policy does not address sites operated by third parties, and we are not responsible for third-party websites, regardless of whether you accessed them from an app, service, or website. The inclusion of links to or accessibility from third-party websites does not imply endorsement by us.
JoooLive will not disclose your email or phone number to anyone. When you use Google Pay, Apple Pay, or third-party logins like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, they may ask you to enter your email or phone number. You should read their privacy policies for details.
We will delete all open platform data as quickly as possible in the following circumstances:
a. When it is no longer necessary to retain the open platform data for legitimate business purposes aligned with these terms and other applicable terms and policies;
b. When we cease to operate the products or services that acquired such open platform data;
c. When a third party requests the deletion of open platform data for user protection;
d. When you request the deletion of your open platform data or cancel your account created on our products or services (excluding cases where the data is aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified and cannot be linked to specific users, browsers, or devices), or for technical providers, when you or your customers request the deletion of their open platform data or cancel accounts on your products or services;
e. When required by applicable laws or regulations:
i. If laws or regulations require us to retain open platform data, we will retain proof as required and provide it to third parties upon request.
ii. If we mistakenly receive open platform data, we will inform the third party, delete the data, and provide proof of deletion upon request.
E. Sharing Your Information with Other Users
If you share information with other users, we cannot control their actions. If you share information with other users using an app, service, or website (including through forums), we cannot control how these users use or share that information. We are not responsible for third parties circumventing our security measures.
F. Sensitive Information
We request that you do not send us or disclose any sensitive personal information (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health, sexual orientation, criminal history, or membership in trade unions) through an app, service, or website.
G. International Users
Some of our system facilities are located in the United States, which may store and process your information through apps, services, or websites. By agreeing to transfer your information to our systems in the United States, you acknowledge that the data protection rules in foreign countries may differ from those in your country and may be less strict. If you object to the transfer or the use of your information as described in this policy, please refrain from using any apps, services, or websites and promptly delete any apps from your user devices.
H. Links to Other Websites or Apps
When you click on links to other websites, mobile applications, or third-party content through JoooLive services, you will be redirected to another website or mobile application, where another entity may collect information about you. We do not control, review, or take responsibility for third-party websites, mobile apps, or their content. Please note that the terms of this privacy policy do not apply to third-party websites, mobile apps, or content or to any information collected after clicking third-party links.
I. Data Security
We take appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. For example, only authorized employees can access personal information, and they are only permitted to do so for authorized business functions. Additionally, we use encryption when transmitting certain personal information between your system and ours, and we use firewalls to prevent unauthorized access to your information. However, please be aware that we cannot entirely eliminate the risks associated with storing and transmitting your personal information. Exercise caution when submitting information via JoooLive services and be selective about what information you provide.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information.
J. Your Choices
You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that your choice to disable cookies will be specific to the browser or device you are using at that time, so you may need to disable cookies separately for each type of browser or device. If you disable or refuse cookies, parts of the website may become inaccessible or not function correctly.
You may opt out of push notifications by adjusting permissions in your mobile device at any time.
If you don't want to share, you can disable GPS, microphone, camera, or similar features on your mobile device. You can also hide your location, uploaded videos, and recent activity time through your "Privacy" settings.
You may choose not to provide personal information to us, but this may prevent you from using some features of the JoooLive services, as certain information may be necessary for registration, purchasing paid services, participating in promotions, surveys, sweepstakes, or filing complaints.
You may restrict ad tracking through the privacy settings of your mobile device.
You can modify your information at any time by editing your profile in the app, including accessing, correcting, updating, or deleting your information.
K. Your Rights
The laws of certain jurisdictions grant JoooLive users specific rights, detailed in this section. Depending on applicable law, you may have all or some of the following rights. We will respond to your request as promptly as feasible, in accordance with applicable laws, typically within one month after appropriate verification procedures. Exercising these rights is generally free, unless we deem it chargeable under applicable laws.
- Right of Access – You can submit a request to access your personal information collected by us by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to official@jojolive.cc.
- Right to Rectification – You can submit a request to correct your personal information collected by us by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to official@jojolive.cc.
- Right to Erasure – You can submit a request to delete your personal information collected by us by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to official@jojolive.cc. While we cannot guarantee complete deletion of your data stored on our backup servers, we commit to not using the data stored in backup servers for any other purpose.
- Right to Data Portability – If technically feasible, you can request us to transfer some of your personal information to you or another designated environment in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You may do so by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to official@jojolive.cc.
- Right to Withdraw Consent – If your personal information was collected based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time and request us to stop collecting or processing your personal information by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to us. Exercising this right will not affect the processing activities that occurred before your withdrawal.
- Right to Restrict Processing – If you believe such information was unlawfully collected or you have other reasons, you may request us to stop processing your personal information by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to official@jojolive.cc. We will review your request and respond accordingly.
- Right to Object – You may object at any time by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to official@jojolive.cc. Please note that if we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing, overriding your interests and freedoms, or if the processing is for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims, we may decline your request.
- Right Regarding Automated Decision-Making and Profiling – If you believe that such automated decision-making and profiling have significant legal or similar impacts on you, you can request us to stop such automated decisions or profiling by (a) using the Help or Feedback function in the JoooLive service or (b) sending an email to official@jojolive.cc. We will review your request and inform you whether your request is applicable under relevant laws and regulations.
In addition to the rights mentioned above, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent Data Protection Authority (DPA), usually the DPA in your country of residence.
L. Children’s Privacy Policy
JoooLive is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services (or higher if required by your country/region to use our services without parental consent). If you are below the legal age to consent to our terms in your country, then your parent or guardian must consent to our terms on your behalf. All accounts for users under 18 will be terminated. In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, we will delete any information collected from children upon discovery. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with their information, please contact us at official@jojolive.cc.
M. Retention of Your Information
We retain your personal information and other information as long as you maintain your JoooLive account. You can request to delete your account at any time by navigating to the app's settings under Me > Settings > Account Security > Delete Account or by sending an email to official@jojolive.cc. Upon receiving a properly reviewed request, we will delete data not required for regulatory, tax, insurance, litigation, or other legal purposes. For instance, we retain location, device, and usage data for the necessary period for these purposes. While retaining such data, it may also be used for security, fraud prevention, and R&D purposes. In certain cases, we may be unable to delete your account if there are unresolved claims or disputes. Once the impediments to deletion are resolved, we will delete the account as described above.
We may also retain certain information for security, fraud prevention, and safety purposes. For example, if a user account is disabled for unsafe behavior or a security incident, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent the user from opening new JoooLive accounts in the future.

O. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may change our privacy policy at any time, and we will post any modifications on this webpage, so please check periodically. If you disagree with any changes to this privacy policy, your only recourse is to immediately discontinue using all applications, services, and websites. Continuing to use any application, service, or website after posting modifications to this privacy policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. JoooLive collects or has collected within the twelve months before the effective date of this disclosure, the following categories of personal information from you:

- Payment Information: This includes your full name, billing address, postal code, country/region, date of birth, purchase amounts, payment method, credit or debit card number, or other payment-related details.
- Transaction Information: Information such as transaction IDs, transaction history, and other records when purchasing paid services.
- Information from Third-Party Social Media: Information provided from social media platforms when creating or linking your JoooLive account with these platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google).
- Device Information: Your operating system, browser type, brand, model, mobile device serial number, IP address, carrier, screen resolution, language settings, IMEI, IMSI, MAC address, and advertising ID.
- Metadata: Associated with your UGC, which describes other data and how, when, and by whom the UGC was collected and formatted, including hashtags and captions used for tagging.
- Cookies: Small pieces of data collected by us or our business partners to measure and understand the web pages you click on and how you use JoooLive services to enhance your experience.
Categories of Personal Information Disclosed for Business Purposes
Within the twelve months before the effective date of this disclosure, JoooLive disclosed the following categories of personal information for business purposes:
- Identifiers: Such as your IP address.
- Personal Information: Such as your credit card number, email address, phone number, and name, for example, if we use service providers to process payments.
- Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: Such as when we use service providers to help us collect crash reports to analyze the health of our services.
Your California Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to request information about JoooLive’s collection of your personal information or to access or delete your personal information. If you wish to delete your personal information, you can delete your account at any time via the app by navigating to Me > Settings > Account Security > Delete Account or by sending an email request to official@jojolive.cc.
Please note that certain information may not be subject to such requests under California law, and certain services may be limited or unavailable based on your data choices.
